Hello
Education & Early Training
A Montana native, I began my professional journey earning my Bachelor's in Psychology from Montana State University (2006) and a Master's in Counseling from Gonzaga University (2009). During my graduate studies, I was trained in the Gottman Method and provided relationship focused workshops.
Early in my career, I gained intensive experience in a diverse range of clinical settings:
Intensive Clinical Experience: This included training in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) during my time in residential treatment, providing group and family therapies, and pioneering work in horse therapy.
Trauma & Community Work: I became a certified clinical trauma professional, working extensively with veterans and emergency workers and in community outpatient settings with co-occurring populations.
Current Focus
Having run a successful solo practice for over seven years (originally in Texas and now based in the beautiful panhandle of Florida), I am dedicated to helping you manage past trauma, reduce anxiety, and create the secure, enduring relationship you deserve.
